Downloading and Launching the Application

1. Download the HORI HOTAS Flight XInput Driver:

2. Launch HORI HOTAS Flight XInput Driver.exe.

Important: Because this is a newly released application, Windows or your antivirus software may display a security warning. The application is safe and virus-free. Select Run Anyway to continue.

Basic Operation

Home Screen

When you launch the HORI HOTAS Flight XInput Driver, the Home screen displays the following options:

1. Device Connection Status

When a compatible device is connected, its status will be displayed as "Connected".

2. XInput Mode ON

To use the Flight Stick and Throttle as a single XInput controller:

1. Connect the Flight Stick and Throttle to your PC separately.
2. Click XInput Mode ON.

The XInput driver will be installed automatically the first time this mode is enabled.

Note: If a Windows security prompt appears during installation, click "Yes" to continue.

3. XInput Mode OFF

Click XInput Mode OFF to disable XInput Mode and return the devices to their standard operation.

4. Button Settings

Click Open Button Settings to customize button assignments for the Flight Stick and Throttle.

Note: Button assignments cannot be changed while XInput Mode is enabled. Turn XInput Mode OFF before selecting "Open Button Settings".

5. Language Selection

You can change the application language to:

• French
• Spanish
• Deutsch
• Italian

• Portugal
• Polska
• Nederland
• Japanese
• Simplified Chinese
• Traditional Chinese
• Korean

Customization

Flight Stick Settings

Select Open Button Settings to open the customization screen.

1. Device Selection

Switch between the Flight Stick and Throttle configuration screens.

2. Button Assignment

Click any button icon to view the list of available functions.

Select a function to assign it to the chosen button.

3. Restore Default Settings

Restore all Flight Stick and Throttle button assignments to their factory defaults.

4. Save Settings

Save your changes and close the Button Settings screen.

Throttle Settings

From the Button Settings screen, select Throttle to access Throttle-specific customization options.

1. Device Selection

Switch between the Flight Stick and Throttle settings screens.

2. Button Assignment

Click a button icon to view available functions and assign a new action.

3. Advanced Throttle Settings

Click Throttle Settings to open the detailed Throttle configuration screen.

Throttle Modes

Single Throttle Mode

• The left and right throttles operate together as a single unit.

Twin Throttle Mode

• The left and right throttles operate independently.

Select the mode that best suits your preference.

Button Input Modes

1-Button Input Mode

• Moving the throttle toward MIN (toward you) is treated as no input.
• A button action can be assigned to the MAX direction only.

2-Button Input Mode

• The center throttle position is treated as no input.
• Separate button actions can be assigned to both the MIN and MAX directions.

4. Restore Default Settings

Restore all Flight Stick and Throttle settings to their factory defaults.

5. Save Settings

Save your changes and close the settings screen.
